The transponder part of the key can be programmed at a locksmith. I have seen it done, takes about 10 seconds. As all they do is copy the signal from the original key.
Programming the remote bit I believe needs tech 2. :y

It also says that you can have the climate "ice cold on one side of the car and red hot on the other". The owners manual says you shouldn't have them set more than 2 degrees apart :-? :-?

You can do it. Just all mixes up in the cabin and doesnt really work well :p

I like the bit that says the car will do 40+ mpg... noticing the car is probably not chipped...
