Title: Y26SE - Oil Pumps

Does the 2.6 engine actually have an oil pump ? Strange thought i know  ::)

Starting to doubt it. Have flickering oil light on this engine ( on a vectra) and only option left to me is to replace the oil pump. Have replaced the oil pressure sensor,  oil, engine flushed with Fortes, sump dropped to clear out etc ..

Cant find any reference to it on google / ebay etc for V6s

Thoughts Anyone ?

Of course there is.....its mounted around the crank shaft nose at the cambelt end.... :y

I assume the pickup is nice and clear......

Kind of knew it must have - just sitting at work rather than under the bonnet and i cant find reference to one anywhere ( to obtain a new one)

Pick up is spotless :y
