Title: astra help needed
Post by: puffa on 10 March 2010, 18:48:37
Right, the sister in laws 54 plate astra is refusing to lock even with the lock button inside the car, the boot however does disenage the autobutton that it has when you press lock on the keyfob, and then reactivates when you press unlock on the fob so i would guess the signal is being picked up from the fob by the car, the problem is the rest of the car does not lock and as it has not door locks inside the car how the hell can it be locked up??

If anyone knows a manual overide or how to reset the central locking you may just save my life

Cheers
Steve

Also nice to see another local person to me. Is your Omega the black one with all the Irmscher bits on. I have seen a really nice one on occasions driving trough Swaythling.
