I have had experience of Nationwide, and they did do a faultless job. All my cars now are always taken to an independent place who I trust, and who does a good job.
But one of my vehicles, and two family members have gone to nationwide. We used to have a 1998 'S' Focus ghia some years ago in metallic seafrost as it was called, back bumper had been hit. Replacement was a perfect colour match, and fitted well.

4 or 5 years ago had dent fixed on a Vectra front wing by them. Came back good as new.

It may of course vary across the country as to there quality.

I woke  up on a saturday morning with 11 Cars, went to bed Sun early hours with 6 left, 5 smashed in 1 day. All taken to Nationwide and  what a botched job on the 3 repaired ones, waste of time. Never sent any there after that.

Had my crash repairs done by Nationwide last year and seemed pretty good - new wing fitted and Irmscher spoiler repaired. Done a nice job in blending the colour in too. Only complaint is they insisted on doing the wheel alignment and tracking as part of their quality control before they would release the car. I'd only just had it done properly by WIM about a month before and they completely breaked it up so had to take it back to WIM again. :(

Hmmmm,i wonder if i can get my wheel alignment done aswell,as it does need doing, and when that lorry hit my car it also pushed the alloy out of the tyre, but did not puncture. What do you lot reckon? ::)

Nationwide will probably do it as a matter of course but if it's anything like my experience it might be worth taking it somewhere like WIM that have a decent setup and know what they're doing IMHO.

I drove into an adult deer in my personal Passat a few years back which destroyed the front end, Nationwide repaired it, and imho done a brilliant job. The ONLY problem was the cover for the towing eye fell off on the way home. I rang them and told them and had a new one in the post the following morning.

I've also had my Mazda 6 and Corolla Verso done at my local Nationwide and I must admit I didn't look too deeply at the repairs to the Mazda as I was literally waiting to get it back before I could have my new car delivered, but the Verso was done excellently.
