its 2.99 for 5litres, plus a free one obviously so 10litres aint bad for £3.00. But is it any good? I dont want to be stuck with 20litres of crap even if it is only £6.
Fairly sure i've used it before without issue, cant remember, but not through the really bad weather, although hopefully we're through the worst of the cold by now.

I bought the Carplan stuff when it was on the same offer... Sadly I've nearly run out now so if you want to try it, let me know ::) ;D
-
I bought some of this and have put it in daughters 206 seems o k clears all the crud.
-
wonder if its all the same stuff... as carplan etc?
-
Bought 6 or 8 gallons of the latest offer stuff a month or so ago as my stock levels had dropped. even when it was as cold as a cold thing, as long as you were sensible in the dilution percentages, no probs with the suds clearing the ice and crud.... :y

thanks h21 and all, got 8bottles of the stuff for 12 quid, seems to be the same as the car plan stuff. Seems ok. Although not had any cold weather.
Cheers

I would steer clear of carplan....and if the macro stuff is the same, that to.
I used to swear by it but, it sort of grows and goes jelly like which blocks the pump!
Plus you need quite a strong mix to get good freezing protection.

Thanks Mark ::)

will it be in there long enough to go off though?
gm stuff leaves chalky residue.

At the rate my headlight washers get through the stuff, I doubt it. ;D
I wonder if it's a reaction to mixing with hard water? In the same way that soap turns into scum?
Ought to try it with the "filtered through chalk" water here. It doesn't get much harder. ;D

well yeah, if it lasts a week(?) i'm doing well...
edit, alright, a week and a half then perhaps? ;D

I've had no problems with the Carplan stuff, even in the winter (although I ran it virtually neat), as long as it's mixed quite strong.
