Title: Fuel pricing
Post by: Kiksomass on 29 March 2010, 11:23:17
As someone who delivers fuel, unless I have a spillage, I never actually see the fuel I'm delivering. When we fill up our cars, the same applies and this is the problem. If somone filled a litre Coke bottle with fuel and were told that it's going to cost £1.20 then I doubt we would be too fussed. When we head off to the pub,we would think nothing of spending over £3 for one PINT or getting wine at £5 for a 1.5 litres from a supermarket. All we see is the fuel gauge not rising as far as it once did for our money. I don't commute fortunately, but when I put £50 in the car I don't hear the click anymore. I bottled out at £55!The days of less than a pound a litre have gone forever. Give or take a few pence, the price is only going to go one direction. The motorist will always be bent forward and told to smile where the government are concerned, whoever is in charge. I don't have the answers but the facts are out there. Just my opinion folks! :(

The above post should probably have gone into general discussion sorry! But I was praising James for sorting the car out and was still in the same section ::)
