Title: Always the same :(
Post by: UrbanFox on 04 April 2010, 12:37:15
Why is it always the same when you're looking for a car?

When you arent looking, there are loads for sale in your price range, but when you are, there arent that many :(

How annoying!

sucks doesnt it?  I am struggling to find an Estate V6 - would prefer a 3.0, but a 2.5 would do for me, but most seem to be saloons in my price range :(

EDIT: Meant saloons, not manuals!!

Having the same issue, am after a van, sold mine friday when they were about 20 within my price range and all nice looking and newer than what I had. Now there is none. Not going to buy something expensive then there is no money to be made.

Exactly - no point spending money thats unnecessary! Luckily I have a car to use, so not in a major rush, though sooner rather than later would be nice, especially as my td isnt the best round town (about 8mpg better than my 3.2 Vec - need to sell that lol)

Auto TD's are bad on fuel in town, chipped manuals are much better

I find that since I moved up north all the cars I find are down south...when I was down there they were always up north!

winters are the season where there are a lot of cars for sale and nobody buys anything and when you start to search in spring too late as galleries wipe the good ones before everyone >:(
