Post by: Auto Addict on 08 April 2010, 16:33:09
Read the handbook, checked the back of the headlight, can't see or feel anything that moves.

How stiff?

Can it be lubricated?

Nope. Remove rubber H/Light cap and the lever is to the side of the "hole" where the bulb is

If you can get 3 in 1 oil there use that. Have you removed the rubber cover where the headlamp bulb goes

If you have projectors the little lever is inside the main beam light, you have to take the rubber cover off to get to it ... quite fragile so don't be rough .. it ONLY moves up and down !!!

Page 123 of facelift manual.

Remove headlight protective cover.

Adjust lever as shown in illustration.

No lever under headlight cover.

Do you have "projectors" ??? are you taking off the "right" cover .. its the "wrong" one .. ie the main beam cover to move the dipped beam light

as said above .. got the right cover ?  It's easy with HIDS as only one cover comes off ... if you don't have HIDS but do have projectors you are possibly on the wrong light !!

projectors have the "golf ball" appearance ... non-projectors look "normal"  ...
