To James V6CDX again. After doing a massive service, cambelt ATF change recently,206 miles later my headgasket went on the M1. Today he has arrived and put me back on the road and ironed out my furrowed brow. He just turns up,cracks on with the job and can hold a conversation at the same time, whilst his head is buried deep within the engine bay or underneath somewhere. He's a busy boy at the moment but I cannot recommend him enough. If you can and do use his services, you too could have a smooth forehead like me ;DThanks again mate, now go and sort that Pug! :y

You're welcome mate
Just as an overview for anyone not aware - the car died on the motorway. Upon re-starting, the engine hydro locked and water was forced into the bore, through the leaking head gasket.
The head was removed on Saturday and the old gasket showed obvious signs of corrosion.
The HG job went flawlessly. She fired up afterwards like she'd not even been apart, and ran an all 4 smoothly.
Once up to temp, there were clouds of steam from the exhaust.
For a while, I thought there was still a fault - but with hindsight, it was just a cat/exhaust full of water! As it's been fine since and cleared after about half hours running, and never came back.
I really enjoyed doing this Job, and it was great to see you again Kiksomass - I'm just glad we got you back on the road :y

Nothing other than I haven't had time to sit down and breathe recently, mate.
I promise there's no sinister motive, hehe, just incredibly busy.
We will be in touch, and gratefully accept your offer of a curry, honestly :y
