Can anyone comment on the Skoda Yeti, either 1.2 petrol or 2.0 diesel..........
It's on my list of possibles to explore..... :-[

To be honest mate, quite like them.....

Whats embarrasing about a Skoda now though? Essentially a VW but you pay a nice whack less because there isn't a lot of badge going on. Don't get a yeti though get a new superb or an octavia :y

anyway like all cars they can go from point A to B.. ;D :y

Going to check that out as not familiar. ::) I really need a high entry car for everday use......Pug 3008 Crossover is nice, currently have a C4 grande Picasso 7 seater, been great and would happily get another, just fancied a possible change..... :-/

The only comment I would make about Skoda's is that I find the seats uncomfortable :(

Your kidding right? Ford Seats are some of the best i've sat in. We used Addison Lee for taxis, they had fleet of VW Sharans and Ford Galaxy's, VW seats were like rocks! Horrible, no support, no give, just plain nasty.
Ford ones soooo much more comfy, i had back ache in VW after just 15 mins!

It's a bit bland externally but not by any means ugly. Inside is spartan to say the least but 'functional'. Optional 'Park Assist' looks interesting ::), and the 'Varioflex'seat adjustment gives 20 adjustments, so 'possible everyone can get comfy'.
1.2 Tsi Petrol: Front Wheel Drive, 6 Speed Manual, Fully Synchronised, 105BHP, 37.2 Urban, 47.9 Extra Urban, 44.1 Combined. 60 litre tank. Max Speed: 109MPH, 0 - 62 in 11.8 seconds.
2.0 Tdi CR : Front Wheel Drive, 5 speed Manual, Fully Synchronised, 110BHP, 42.8 Urban, 60.1 Extra Urban, 52.3 Combined. 60 litre tank. Max Speed: 110MPH, 0-62 in 11.6 seconds.
If all you want is A to B in reasonable comfort & cheapish on running costs, it is worth a second look IMO Vamps :y

Very rarely seen out in open apparently .. ;D ;D ;D
Sorry couldn't resist either but, funnily enough though, I haven't seen one yeti .. ;D ;D ;D

Have you considered something like a Quashquai. We have them on our Enterprise fleet and I must admit they are really nice to drive with a nice high seating position.
But for me, my favourite car at the moment is the Ford S Max 2.2 TDCi. There is nothing that car is not good at!
