Title: Ideal Tool Kit?
Post by: Lizzie_Zoom on 21 April 2010, 22:06:25
After working on a number of miggies I think that now I have an ideal range of tools to undertake most general work on these cars (??)

..........and yes I know that I do not have any hub pullers, cam locking tools, Tech2, or any of the other "specialist tools, but I have all the basic ones I need....I think.......so far!! :D :D :D ;)

Missing items.

Set of pressed overalls.

Marigolds.

Inspection lamp.

Car crawler and (Basque to pull the DD's in tight) safety glasses.

Apart from that, some impressive kit.  :y :y

A decent set of stilsons always come in useful..

I substituted the hacksaws with a Dremel and cutting disk...

A useful thing I see missing is a compressor, although, I tend only to use mine as an oversized inflator recently...

Add a decent set of Long Nose Mole Grips to your collection Liz. Very usefull for clamping a hose whilst you do some work.
A pair of normal Mole Grips too, don't buy any cheap ones, they're false economy, because they twist outa shape under pressure.
