Title: 1999 Zafira 2.0 Diesel...
Post by: Welung666 on 24 April 2010, 13:16:35
Been offered one on the cheap as the pump has gone. Are they coded to the car or can I just swop it with a working pump? Any idea on price and sources for the pump

Is it the DTI or DI model?
DTI is a good engine, and they hold their value relatively well. A '54' 2.0 DTI in white with just over 200k miles sold for £2300 at auction...which I thought irrespective of market values etc seemed expensive.
That is assuming the Zafira had the same engine choices as the Astra G, as the DTI and DI were both available.

Thanks Mark :y

Josh it's an Elegance DI, I doubt I'm having it now, they've just decided they want £800 for it on a V plate (one of the very first out of the factory). By the time I've sourced and fitted a pump it'll end up worthless IMO. Oh and yes could get both DI and DTI engines in those.
