Post by: Del Boy on 23 April 2010, 21:54:09
As to the above how do I? It was expensive so I've read and I haven't really give the van a bit of wellying yet, so is there anyway I could find out how much extra HP I'm supposed to have?

Remap, I was reading and he said, he was looking at a tuning box but he opted for a professional remap instead.

Think it means it was done specifically for the car... On the road, so to speak :-/

It is when a remap is done at the side of the road or on the rollers, this is supposed to be better as the tuning company actaully make the map for your car, not one that they have done before. So LD you were bang on  :y

Not much benefit on modern closed loop setups.

Race a standard one and see how well you keep up with it, then on a straight, see how easily or not you pass it when you are both giving it the beans.   :y
