Heater blower mate

Ljay says do you want sammy back to help with the breaking of it?
-
Ebay it........
1 careful owner, never been raced or rallied but needs slight attention!
;D ;D ;D ;D ::)

i always wondered what that yellow wire went to :y
-
ooh that steering wheels got to go (wince)
at least my steering wheels black. :P

Looks like you will do anything to get better mpg! What do you use for a drivers seat? A plastic gerden chair to save weight? ;D
-
May be I am a bit odd, but I love to see a car in that state of dismantling 8-) 8-) 8-)
I once stripped a Carlton down to the bulkhead to replace a heater matrix and replace the blower unit. Everything was so easy to get to I had this passing thought to keep it stripped down for ease of future replacement / repair.
There was also this great sense of achievement when I put it all back together again without any problems! Even my ex was most impressed, although he never let me loose on his cars like that!! ::) ::) :D :D ;)

As others said, main blower. Said blower now on where back seat should be, so you can see straight through to pollen filter now ;D
Few more bits of ducting removed, struggling to work out how the main air distrubution unit comes out. Nearly down to heater matrix ;D ;D ;D

oops. ;D ;D

Nope. Seeing as I'm going to lose money on it, I may as well learn and do it properly :y

Hence why I dislike beige interiors ;). Is yours black?
Can't get the friggin wheel off, even using the DTM method.
-
I think it's pretty cool actually! :D
-
I bet 9 miles worth of fuel would last a while in that miggy..... :D :D ;D ;D
-
How big are your hands to do that?
-
Those AMP connectors for the drivers door switch pack and the climate control panel are always useful :y

You could use my home made puller if you were closer, I made it years ago to get my Manta's wheel off. The method of using knees etc just bent the steel spokes. :-?

I wonder if you could fit a nice pre-facelift dash in there instead? ::) ;) :y

Could, but getting the climate to work would be a challenge - the facelift one is a bit more complex.
