Title: Insurance renewal time

just got my renewal quote. Gone up by nearly £80 from £280 to £358. never claimed got 7 years plus no claims , What a rip off Privilege!!!!! >:( >:( Time to look around me thinks.
Do any of you know any reasonable firms?

Swiftcover have been good for both of us... The renewal was even the best quote I could find for this year (again for both cars) :y :y

Yep, im a Swiftcover customer too, they were about £100 less than anyone else (£256) :y :y

Morethan have given me a good deal on both Omegas. :y

So good, they also did my home insurance at a good rate. ::)

you could try Footman James, i got mine for £299 fully comp but that does include no claims protected & full breakdown recovery, & with my record on gearboxes it seemed a good idea ;D, had to use that facility last week. >:(

Work this one out then,mine has gone up by £300,and the best is i even have an extra years no claims. :o >:(

not a modified car I know, but extremeley competitive for me at 33, beat everyone on go compare by 300 squid!

Give Admiral a go as i did mine in Jan for the 3.0 Elite, parked on the drive and 12000miles a year and paid just over £170 but i do have 9+ years ncd.

if i knew any "firms" i thing i would send em round to sort all these "accident faker" firms  who make the premiums go up.
trade policy gone up £200 year on year. >:(

Thanks for all the replies . Its just annoying that even though you have proved to them you are less of a risk to them it still goes up.. Surely it should go down if you haven't made a claim (just a few quid would be nice ) >:(

Just goes to show it pays to shop around.  Went to MEERCAT .COM they gave me the best quote £265 fully comp (swiftcover)

Bit late to say this but I think Cashback kings are still doing about £25 cashback on Swifcover :-[
