I saw one today on the M40, it was being driven under trade plates, my vehicle was aswell, so the customary toot and wave occured until I saw it was a '56' plate, I was rather excited :D
I was amazed, it was a silver 3.2 Elite saloon. Damn these silver cars, if it had been black I would have pursued him.
It was being driven by someone who works for united fleet distribution, so it's final destination is a mystery.
But, it certainly is a very very rare sight.
It had 'VAUXHALL' and the older VX logo on the side in large writing. So, one can only guess what it was used for, can't have been a demonstrator but an official Vauxhall car perhaps.

Indeed Tunnie, left for a very long time, a good three years. Shame they didn't forget about it, and let me discover it and keep it ::)
