Title: Reading codes on an Astra

Anyone know how to read the codes on a 51 plate Astra 2.2 SRi (manual)?

A work colleague has the engine warning light up and has tried the pedal trick with no luck.

the 2.2 omega generally doesnt work for the pedal trick either, so may be code reader time  :'(

Wont work on z22 se mate as jim said you need a reader,and dont mention the eml on these engines,they are a nightmare. ::)
