A few years ago.. well quite a few years ago, i bought a brand new short engine for my Vauxhall Victor FD for £25 from my local Vx dealer as they were selling off old stock.

My original engine used to knock a lot on startup, mainly due to the oil pump being below the distributor on the top of the engine.

I seem to remember also getting some brand new twin Stromberg's for a silly price too..

As used in the Cadillac Catera, sort of a cross between an X30XE and a Y32SE
