Post by: ViaraiX on 03 May 2010, 08:54:52
thanks for all the help over last few months but time to move on as my omega is now beyond repair...

aquaplaned on M2 yesterday morning in torrential rain, back swung out went backwards into outside crash barrier then bounced back across M2 into crash barrier on hard shoulder, luckily no other cars involved.

yeah it was amazing how well it stood up, even more amazing is it still starts and drives (albeit with a bent steering rack) i think a smaller car would have definitely been much worse

Yep, just go with another Omega, it's what I did when I wrote mine off last year and I think I would have regretted buying anything else.

Cavalier saved my life back in 1997,car was unrecogniseable, and i just ended up with 2 stitches in my eyelid from a 45mph crash hitting a wall and lampost, and somersaulting through the air,and thats the reason i will staying with big vauxhalls, just hope i dont find out what the mig is capable of withstanding. ;)
