OK. I know I said I wouldn't do anymore, but when you see what I have acquired you will see why I just couldn't resist.
Full details to follow later in the week once it arrives, but for now I will just say it is a 2000 facelift. By my estimates it will need some work including a possible new engine. But taking into account how much I have paid for it, I cannot lose.
Details and pics on Friday.

Judging from how you describe it. May I hazard a guess that the cost was… nada?
-
In fact I propose a bet – open to all members – the closest wins! That is, if Ronnie doesn’t mind.
-
I don't mind. It has cost me quite a lot actually. But hey, it is a 2000 facelift model in pretty nice condition cosmetiaclly. just mechanical issue(s), none of which is beyond me of course.
This one is, however the last one. I intend to keep it if it is a good as I hope. The wife can have it as a little pressie from me.

My vote was more wishful thinking than anything else....
-
Interestingly, 'Yes - no more Omegas for Ronnie, ever!' is the only option that got ZERO votes so far... ;D
-
is it just me or has Ronnie had more retirement announcements than Krusty the Clown?

I personally feel finlay will possibly slow down but not totally stop, as they say once you have the bug its hard to get rid or something like that lol ;D

My black project (Dads) car is almost done booked in for the weekend for its MOT, just got to get the exhaust replacement centre box fitted when it comes and then it will be up for sale provided all goes well with the MOT.
I doubt I will get another or if I do I shall be going for something with less needing doing to it.

I like the poll, but I can promise you this is the end of projects. I physically cannot do it now and will be far too busy with the other businesses now to give anytime to car fixing.
Don't get me wrong. I enjoy doing them and there is a great feeling when you have brought one of these back from death, but I know my limitations and I passed them long back. I am having more surgery in November and that will put an end to any ambitions to work on cars then, so I intend to relax a bit more and let you guys pick up the project trail.

Good for you Fin.... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
All the best...

Just to point out Ronnie that you would have received your fourth star just 5 posts ago. So by granting the big five up front, TheBoy deprived you from the sense of achievement of getting your fourth star ;D
(not that I know what it feels like, I'm not there yet! >:()
