Have posted similar in the wanted section, but feel I may get an answer easier here.
Fancy changing my mini-facelift elite 3.0 estate to facelift outside, keeping the best of both worlds (in my opinion inside the mini facelift is far nicer).
What I need to know is:
What is really needed to get, bonnet, wings, front and rear bumpers, hatchback???
Or, would I be better off buying a facelift mot failure estate and stripping it?? is the elite different bodywork to the rest??
Is it viable, financially, cos I love my miggy, the engine is good, the running gear is good, the interior is excellant, but the body is getting scabby in places (don't they all.....) and fancy a "mongrel/hybrid"!!
Thanks All.

If you think its worth it, then its viable.
a couple have done it. Jim springs to mind 1st.
need a bit more that youve suggested though...
rubbing strips all the way round,
scuttle is different - washers sit here on facelift, not bonnet
headlights are a different shape,
wing mirrors iirc
washer bottle
grille
plus the bonnet & bumpers youve mentioned.
actual wings are the same iirc.
prob more ive forgotton too

Depends how old your mini-facelift is. My mini-facelift had blanks fitted where the washers would go. ;)
