As part of considering my options I just ran a couple of cars, out of interest;
1998 MV6 Auto, TPF&T £186.81
2003 2.6 Elite, TPF&T £217.34
Includes full business, the advantage of the Internet, not bad prices, the MV6 is only about £40 more than My 2.0 GLS estate, on a no business low mileage basis, though fully comp.
Getting old, bring it on.... :D :D :D
PS, that is with swmbo on as well.... ::) ::)

Some days I wish for an extra 30 years :D
Being 20, insurance companies love me...I've paid £6071 for my motor trade policy with Tradex. But I guess, it's not a bad price really, enambles me to drive any car...owned by anyone with unlimited engine capacity and very few restrictions.

I've just paid £130 for fully comp for me and the wife on her Rover 25 Diesel and that includes business use for her and £335 for my traders policy so yeah getting older has some advantages :)

Should drop with a huge jump at 21 and again at 25. 8-)

No, strangely, though my present Mig is :P Don't think Saga like it if you use the car for work, they like retired or cars not used for commuting, as my Mig is currently..... :D :D :D

Youth, its wasted on the young.
I used to think that it would be great getting older. It isn't! About the only thing good is you know a lot of stuff but it counts for nowt as the world is run by younger people who don't need to know much nowadays!!!

I didn't find that. The only major drop is 25 really. That's when you are no longer a "young driver". Apparently.
I was 22 with 4 years NCB when I insured my 3.0 Elite for £49 a month TPFT.
