Title: Mobile Mechanics
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 21 May 2010, 13:43:12
I have decided to partially bring this back, after a few weeks break.

However - it will be a reduced service, because I will only be doing cambelt changes, at the moment.

I was finding with doing the full works, that I just didn't have the time to do it.

Don't want to completely stop - so I'm going to trial this, as a compromise.

I will probably work for one weekend a month  :y

Hey....TB-

Isn't that a full-time job in itself, given that K series are so bad for them?

I'm lucky MY "K" is a KV6...................no history of HG with them, thank god.

Early KV6 were even worse!  Later ones resolved.  Much like later Land Rover K series.  Hence, thats what I'll be modifying mine to....

KEV:

reckon we need to organise a curry night somewhere central quite soon.

so many of us are curry lovers that it would be a good excuse for a "meet" as well as a bloody good excuse for a curry!!

Don't mind a bit of a drive, as I suspect many others wouldn't. what about Newent, good curry house local (my neck of the woods), OR.......
on-site, I'll cook!

I'm more than capable of doing it myself (bit nervous about changing the oil rail, but ho-hum).  But I'm always game for a curry night ;D ;D ;D

Even moreso if the local curryhouse lays on the entertainment like last time chrisgixer was here ;D.  Brawling in Brackley, who would have believed it ;D
