Title: MV6
Post by: pedroMV6 on 28 May 2010, 23:24:09
What does the 'M' stand for?

I'm taking a wild stab in the dark that the 'V6' bit is to do with the engine.........

I must admit I'm only repeating what I heard some time ago on here, but I believe it stood for 'Motorsport'. Not quite sure why, I think the 2.2 Sport model could have been called something else and the MV6 named Sport or Sport V6. It would make sense to more people. I don't know of any other VX model called MV6. The sportier one's are SRI, GSI, SXI etc. Would Omega SRI have sounded any good I wonder?
