Having a look over the log book of mine and the 1st owners where a Vauxhall dealership as a demo car. Just wondering if they did anything diffrent to there demo cars or are they just standard.

hehe, I remember taking a cherry turbo for a test drive, it was still spinning the wheels in 2nd gear by the time the saleman had shut the door, we were flat out in 4th before he got the seat belt on.
Pity the 1st buyer of that car, everyone drove it flat out.
Thought they were a quick car till I test drove a sylvia turbo 15 mins later.
between the same 2 points on the same road had an exyra 30 mph out of it.
Mind you, pity the 1st owner of the sylvia as well.
Turbo and axle tramp on FWD, not for me .

dont worry SP_3.2 . im sure all your test pilots were elderly gentlemen...

I know for a fact the some dealerships have their demo cars re-mapped to make them more appealling.
I had a Calibra some yeras ago that had been re-mapped by a Notts dealer :y
