Title: 45 MPG
Post by: Del Boy on 04 June 2010, 20:57:20
Driving the BM earlier up the motorway 70 ish MPH it was doing 45 MPG according to the trip computer, got my son to video it on his iPhone but it didn't come out very clearly, but you can see the 45 MPG at 75 MPH  :o Stunned I was, but very happy too  :y Will do a better video again though when next up the motorway.

Nope 100% genuinely driving along in the heat no wind, foot holding it at that speed and on a level bit of road, chuffed I was  :y

I got 49.5mpg average over 700 miles from my BMW  :P

Seriously though sounds good, what did it average over the tank?

38.6 MPG, 60% motorway, 40% town driving, that was also chasing an Audi A6 3.2 Quattro up to 135 MPH yesterday of course we went to the Autobahns though he let off first though whimp saying that mind gets scary at those speeds but car felt very stable and plenty left wouldn't have gone any further though even though the motorway was clear. Also a Supercharged Range Rover Sport was sticking to my backside yesterday so showed him a bit of exhaust note. Not with a light foot around the town either, that's why I was so shocked, obviously it's been driven sensibly too, but all the racing around made it seem all the better.

Certainly can't!

May possibly be going up to WOMA next week if there are any 530d's up there, if I do go I'll be meeting Josh hows about you coming along too? Not defiantely going yet mind you depends what's there.

The car is suprisingly fast for a 2.5, the ex mrs never used to put her foot down in it really, but it really does go well  :o
