Title: Wheel Offset
Post by: HolyCount on 12 June 2010, 17:05:53
What's the offset on stock classic mini wheels ?  Want to get more of the wheel outside of the hub --- take it that requires a negative offset ( does it Huh ), on the assumption that having the face of the hub at the centre line of the wheel is zero ( or is it measured between different points ) ?

Does that make sense  ::) Pain killers are taking their toll today and the brain is woollier than usual  :-/

The standard seems to be about 25mm +ve. Cooper 'S' Reverse rims ( not to be confused with genuine 'S' rims ) have a lower offset of about 15mm +ve. The smaller the offset the wider the wheel track, so in essence the wheel will protrude more from the bodyline
