That's not bad. It also depends on type of roads & weather too. When we last went o Devon, we drove down in horendous conditions & averaged ....... :o :o :o :o

Normally get around 16 to 17 on LPG

Funnily enough when I went to Devon last Easter it was very windy. I used a quarter of a tank more than coming home.

TD estate averages 26-28 mpg, as said depends on weather conditions.
It dropped to around 22mpg on a recent tow upto Yorkshire, very windy.
The return journey did better, with calmer conditions and less beer onboard, around 28 mpg.

Went up to Keswick to pick up my van, 2 of us in car about 70-80 mph clocked 32 mpg, mostly mway & A road. Coming home same route, 4 in car and 1500Kg caravan, 60 mph and clocked 22 mpg. Not toooooo bad I guess, 2.2 auto working quite hard. :-/

Averaged 29/30mpg in a 2.2 DTi Estate with 1200Kg Caravan + Load (inc 2 x Gas bottles) + 2 adults & 1 child in car. This was over 270 miles Solihull to near Newquay.

Averaged 20 mpg going down to Norfolk, but was pulling 1550 twin axle caravan, not to bad but the auto worked hard.
