Coolant leak from the 'heater matrix area' Lee offered to sort the problem.
He finished up replaceing the 'heater matrix', what ever others may say it is not an easy job.
Lee, many, many thanks, brilliant, thanks for your help.
Trim replaced, no leaks, but still sinks of antifreeze.
Very best regards
Richard A

well done wellung :y, dash out job or the quick fix ::)

He helped me sort my sauna on saturday as well....Who would of thought of using garden hose pipe to plug the gap up between the matrix and compartment??? No sauna on the drivers side now.... ;) ;) Top lad is our lee... :y

The 'quick fix' but not so 'quick', the 'how to' on the site is not the complete story, however 'Lee' overcame the 'plastic dash', all back together, looks fine.
Hope to be at the 'Plank & Legget' July.
regards

I will let you into a little secret richard, Lee had a look at mine on sat cause it had the quick fix option and my motor was the guinea pig for your matrix repair/refit..... :y

Yes Lee did say he had looked at a 'this is one we did earlier', not a problem, thats how we learn.
450 miles since the the 'matrix' was replaced.
NO loss of coolant, brilliant job, really pleased.
Signed up for company car, Omega in perfect order but at 185K & 12years old it can't go on for ever, maybe up for sale !

Lee is a Top Bloke IMHO, always ready to help & usually first in the queue to do so too :y. He always seems to shortchange himself when selling parts though! ::), twice now he has pulled me out of the proverbial, & each time I have been embarrassed at how little I have been asked to pay! :-[:D :y
