Hi, decided (once again) to get rid of my 02 2.2 CD auto saloon.
Sad decision but as I tow a heavy caravan and the car struggles I've bought a 4x4.
Anyway, just as a guide, the car has 80K miles, full stamped history until I got it, all mot's verifying mileage. Since I've owned it (Oct 2009) I've replaced the timing belt, tensioners & waterpump, changed oil & filter twice and had the exhaust manifold studs & gaskets sorted. It also has a towbar and Monroe ride leveller shocks but I may sell them seperately.
The car runs great, never misses a beat and is dead reliable, taxed to end Nov and MoT mid Oct.
Down sides are a rattle from (diagnosed by an auto trans specialist) the autobox pump which he said I should live with as it could last for years. The 'box works perfectly. Occasionally I get an EML but goes out on restart, can't remember the code but guys on here suggested throttle body clean which I haven't got round to yet.
Sorry about the long post and this isnt (yet) a 'for sale' but just interested what you guys would consider a ball park selling price.
Thanks for any replies. :'(

I've just sold an '03' plate 2.2 auto saloon with 93k on, FDSH, and also put on a new exhaust manifold, gaskets etc.
Put it up for £1995......it went for £1800
I was lucky, a workmate bought it. There's lots out there for sale, so don't expect a quick sale unless the price, condition is good :y

agree with above, 2.2 CD spec is going to be one of the hardest to sell. (on here at least) as everyone wants MV6 or Elite. Make sure you have lots of pictures on your advert :y
