Title: Diesel MPG

I've just done a trip up to the other side of Doncaster.
On the way up i sat the cruise at 60mph & even with the climate on burt did 55mpg :) :)
On the way back i sat at 70mph & he did 49mpg with the climate on.
I then had a play down the last part of my journey on the A38 & then averaged 45mpg :D

I'm well happy at that. How do other DTi owners get on? Are your figures simalar?

On Saturday went from Wolves to Matlock via A5 / A38.

Reset everything before trip and there and back averaged 40.3mpg with climate on and using cruise 70% of time.

Round trip of approx 125miles (between 40 and 70+ Mph)

Also on a 2.2Dti

On our DTi it tends to run around 38Mpg, better on a decent motorway run but it doesn't get too many of them at the moment.

MPG probably not helped by my lead foot after having a decent run out in the Elite to the Lakes and now missing that performance  ::) ;D
