Ello,
just wondering whats the lowest genuine miles diesel Omeegah out and bout ??? had quite a few over the years and just lately have been finding some around with some serious clocking going on :o best was nearly 300 thou clocked back to 90 and up for sale.
we were looking around for a proper nice one and in the end got a 49k example with all mot's from the same garage and only vauxhall and 1 private owner who bought the car with only 4k miles up it when a year old.
have got to say though even though it drives mint i have had them drive exactly the same with 120k miles and a full Vx history but this time we wanted the lowest we could find and 49k was it :D
for a big old car its doing 45 average mpg and on a good run 55mpg,not bad that :P
-
What is it a 2.2 or 2.5?
-
Vx 2.2 dti matey,we found the Bm diesel won't do the same mpg as the Vx :P.
-
whomever buys a diesel i assume buys it because it makes a lot of km every year so the low fuel is worth it.
-
Well mine is an 03 plate 2.2dti and has just clocked a genuine 45,000 miles (FDSH) was bought from Vauxhall Telford buy my late dad new with 26miles on the clock.
-
your winning Simon :y
the one we have is a 2002 on the 02,the first owner was Vauxhall Motors Luton, its still got Vauxhalls Luton postcode on the plates, never been smoked in and ashtrays and cigar lighters still like new, also unused spare wheel and the net is still in the plastic bag unopened :D
funny as this is a year older than yours but last year it was on 45k so our cars seem to maybe of been doing the same miles per annum.

124K now on the Tractor estate.....
.....and now the Mrs has sold her 4wd i'll have to let her have the tractor estate and buy myself another one (prefer saloon if I can find one).
Then I will have to crack on with LPGing the Elite ::)
-
we had a black 2.2 dti gls estate last year on the 02 02 with 120k miles up it and fsh from Vx. it was direct out of the Co-op so i bet you can guess what it used to be used for ? :D
i like both the estates and the saloons but for economy the saloons better and the person pulling the purse strings is as tight as a ducks wotsit.
Hey just thought i should of said Who's got the lowest miles Saloon then we could of been in the lead still :P
-
88000 on mine and its getting its oil changed today when i get the filter i got mine on its 2nd birthdat off of my paw in law with 20ish k on the clock
-
mine has 209.000 km.. ~130.000miles and i just got it so it will be still going for some time now :)

Hello Omegatoy, yep been my main transport since I picked it up from you in January, so it's done 8K in just under 6 months. two oil changes, one crank sensor and about £1K in fuel costs saved compared to the 3.2!!!
That's why i'm looking for another one now the Mrs wants her estate!
-

Hi VXLV6
LOL 1k saved on fuel? lovely!!! thats why you wanted it though! so at that rate it would have paid for itself in the next six months on fuel saving alone against the 3.2, not to mention wear and tear , so you looking for another diesel? will keep me eyes open :y
