Went to look at some Omega's today, only one a possibility so I had a good look around with an air of 'I know what I am looking at' type of approach, never looked in the boot, did not know how to open it.. :-[ :-[ :-[ All ours have been estates.... ::)
-
If facelift, bottom right button of the dash is to open the boot, or the bottom button on the keyfob. Earlier facelifts you can't open the boot with the key in the ignition. Later facelifts you can, but to operate the switch you have to hold it in for approx 3 to 5 seconds.

Button on the dash or the key :-?

I assume you mean the facelifts.
Press the button on the dash or the third button on the key.

Stupid place to put a button.... ::) ::) ::) I did look around for a leaver near the seat, the usual place for such a thing....Never mind, know next time...Thanks guys.......
Another quick question, is it usual for the door pulls to be, what I assume ring damaged, this car was about mint inside except for that....

Yeah, soft touch plastic. Most awful invention >:(

My missus always ends up with loads of scratches on the outside by the door handles. It's those bleedin rings she wears.
-
The interior door pulls are very easily scratched & gouged by fingernails & rings Vamps, as are any of the switches, buttons etc. covered in that bloody awful 'soft touch' black rubberised s**** they saw fit to foist on us all! :( ;)
-
And when the battery is flat, there's a manual pull in the roof of the lid. (After you've emptied the boot contents, provided they fit through the back seat!!!)
