Title: What car to buy??
Post by: Vamps on 19 July 2010, 21:25:09
OK I need a car, what though??

I need Automatic, prefer a high seat or a car with seat height adjustment and steering.
Car needs to be light to drive, comfy to sit in, nothing too small and with reasonable MPG but nippy.
14 Mile commute, A or B or mixture of roads. At work spend time running around the town mainly.
Reasonable boot but we do have an Omega Estate for any big jobs.

Ideas please around £3-5k

Over to you guys for some appropriate ideas.. :y

Prefer the ferrari - a bit of isopon and a t-cut - good as new  :) :y

if you want a car which will need only ordinary consumables my advice is Mazda 1.5 or 2.0 but with a manual I'm afraid.. They are very robust but autos not strong as like their engines..My friend has one
97 model and not touched anything other than oil ,
filter , brake pads.. :o :o :o >:( >:( >:(

an 04/05 seat altea ticks most of the boxes. high seat, adjustable wheel, quite fun to drive (for a front drive low powered oil burner). granted not a v6/v8 omega, :'( but i know some people live in the real world. they are quite cheap new £12-15k. i ran one as a taxi for a couple of years, that managed 135k without it actually going bang. :D paid £12.5k, sold for £2.5k. :-/ £3.5 should find a reasonable one. only group 6/7 insurance too.
