Well.... basically.... my brothers, girlfriends, sisters, next door neighbours, cats, vets, daughter has a Ford Ka (52plate).
It has central locking, but not remote. I have a couple of crappy cheapo kits kicking about and was going to install one.... both door locks are giving up, so only sensible to have another way of gaining access to the car.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the original central locking control box and motors please?
And dont bother replying with things like "Tell her to buy a proper car" or "The thing is probably fit for the bottom of the river" because I have already told her that, many-a-time ;D
Thank you. :y

How about "why do you want to lock it anyway?" Sorry, but you missed that one. ;D
I would start either in the back of the Haynes manual for the wiring diagrams (fiver on ebay if you don't have it), or take off the door panel and look at the back of the lock cylinder. I'm guessing it will have a switch that senses the lock cylinder turning so that will provide you with a signal to trigger the locking motors.
If it's manually locked on the driver's door it will probably need a locking motor added to that side.
