Title: New fangled MOT query
Post by: omegod on 27 July 2010, 19:03:43
I'm picking up an MOT failiure 2001 Peugot 206 next week off a mate in work who basically can''t be arsed with it anymore, he had an MOT done at Kwik-Sh*t and was quoted £600 , both you and I know some fail points will be false.

Question is: If I put it through another garage I'm sure the fail points will show up on the computer when the reg goes in, are they of any relevance to the tester or is it a complete new test?  i.e. does he have any obligation to fail on the same points ?

They'll show up on VOSA's website now.
Your car should go trhough a whole new test even for a re-test.  :y  :y

if another garage logs it in for a test the previous fail items will not show up
