I have both, the floorpan is identical, but the bits that hang off it are longer for the Holden.

Don't suppose Holden(or any other more modern idea) subframe and suspension can be fitted to an omega?

Wishbone bush life something of an issue on here at the moment.

Would be nice if subframe and wishbones fitted... Must be more substantial than gay omega bushes surely.

I am going to go the same way Andy when I need some for either of our cars, as I am convinced that these Lemforders are the Genuine thing like people keep saying they are :-?

Local parts dept lad said that just the bushes were something like £70 to buy IIRC. So that might be another route to go down.  :-/

plus various spacers etc to support the fab'd wishbones otherwise they'll bend too much. I made a set years ago when I replaced the bushes in my Senator's wishbones ..... but didn't keep them.  :( & Heinz has SFA in the way of materials to make anything big enough.  :-?  :-?  :-?

Well thats what ive noticed. the middle of both cars are identical but everything else is completely different. look at this for comparison: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201031364808194/sort/priceasc/usedcars/maximum-age/over_10_years_old/maximum-mileage/up_to_80000_miles/model/omega/make/vauxhall/page/1/radius/1501/postcode/sk105qw?logcode=p

if the sub frame bolts straight on then it might make for a pretty straight forward mechanical upgrade. with its relaxed 6 spd box,i doubt that a 5.7/6.0 mig would be too thirsty, no cambelt either... 8-) might upset my insurance :'( and the rear tyres :D
think it might be a bit more realistic to get a set of gm arms and try and find a decent subframe to put them on to. :-/
