Pickep up a clean 206 for a song, it needs wishbones for the MOT , heard these can be a ghastly nightnmare to get off which will involve a 5 foot scaff bar and chains! anyone done these?

I will let you know tomorrow as I have a 206 outside waiting for wishbones to arrive :y

best of luck Henry, I would put this on the same peg as an ATF change on the Miggy.
One bolt wont clear the driveshaft drivers side and I just cut the other one off with a grinder. Spring compressors would make it a lot easier!!
Nightmare >:(

I've changed a set of 206 wishbones away from my workshop with nothing more than a socket set. You have to fiddle about a bit to make sure you don't pull on the driveshaft too hard while the bottom ball-joint is disconnected, but other than that it's reasonably straightforward. 2hrs from car driving all over the place to car driving in a straight line.

just finished the 206 that I am doing,I removed the hub nut and swung shaft out of the way which gives access to front bolts, left hand side was easy but struggled a bit with the right hand one getting the arm low enough to re-engage ball joint pin, enjoying coffee and fag break now :y

All done myself too, bit of a faff but saved a few quid :y
