Post by: Martin_1962 on 18 August 2010, 23:40:52
£5 something minimum order 2 and I want one, won't order without prepayment. >:( >:(

Small garage near work (who does my MOT) is getting me one instead! :y

That reminds me of the saga with the radiator gearbox oil cooler union bolts.  They come in packs of 4 yet only 2 go on the vehicle.  tinkers!  >:(

Sorry if I am hijacking thread, but I thought my drivers side manifold was leaking but when I feel around where the downpipe joins the manifold it is leaking from here.
How bad are these to do?
Is the stud likely to snap or is it a nut and bolt?  TIA :)

Stud and nut. Yours should have special nuts with stainless thread inserts which usually come off OK.
Use a hex spark plug socket to undo, not a bi-hex (12 point) socket. Often very tight (stuck) but comes undone with a loud crack.
