Depends if you like:

Pork or Beef
Lamb or Chicken
etc etc

I tried an S80 some years ago and felt disconnected from the road whilst driving it. Just my opinion you understand.

Hi Mate ive had nearly 8 volvos now and to be honest sice 99 and ford took over i have had nothing but trouble,any parts that go wrong say a window switch you carnt just get a spare  from a scrapper and fit them everything is programmed to the car so they are very expensive now and to be honest the ride isnt the best.
Any way if you want my vote go for the Omega thats why im here, Many of the family have them  and have borrowed them a few times and i love them,yes they have problems but all cars do, But if you take the volvo option plan all your costs at main dealer or a specialist not your local garage,Hope this helps

I agree,

had a 2001 V70 D5 .... lovely car, but very expensive on parts and garage bills.... wow dont ask !!

Sold it and went back to the Omega,,, better car by far.. except rust ,,, but would rather have my omega than the Volvo any day now.

S80 is wrong-end drive - that automatically places it in 2nd division.

probably a nice car otherwise

Volvo maintenance cost can never be compared to miggy.. And its not important how well built they are.. like all cars they fade in time.. :-/
