I was bored so went on Youtube for a bit and found this....

I remember alot of old car adverts, especially Vauxhall because there were some pretty cool ones, but I don't ever remember this one, and its sooooo crap!
Thank god the car was a damn site better than the advert because it wouldn't make me want to go and buy one :)
-
............and note in that advert that Omega is pronounced using the letter 'O', Omega. Yet the times garages and others say 'Omega! :D :D :D :D :D ;)

I remember this one, is was shi*e. I used to like the cavalier one that used Peter Gabrial's 'Sledge Hammer'. But that would probably look shite now as well. wonder if its on youtube?

I like the old Eric Clapton song they play with the adverts, I used to always have that song on one of my CD's in the car and when it was playing say to myself, buy a vauxhall with 0% finance lol.
:D

Doesn't make me want to buy one. Wonder what the sales figures were like in that year :)
I always liked the nova ad where the back was jacked up at the back

I've had the same conversation just about every time I've had to say what car the part or what ever is for. I say Oh-meg-a, they say ... 'what :-/? do you mean O-meeg-a?
-
Ive always pronounced it oh-mee- ger, I wonder if its an accent thing....
-
At school we were always taught to pronounce it "oh-mi-ga".
But then the 24th and last letter of the greek alphabet does not actually appear on my car!
But it means in translation - "the last of a series; the final development". Oh how car manufacturers like to take the micky eh?
