Goldcar upgraded my car to a Citroen Picasso C4 Automatic diesel - quite a large car. I was advised to purchase Segura relax whivch is the top level of insurance so you just leave the car on return without inspection.
You soon understand when you pick car up with all kinds of knocks and scratches on it and then when you get into the narrow streets of the towns where we were in central Majorca. Such narrow streets for a big car with the front and rear sensors going all the time which you have to largely ignore as you need the last inch to get around corners. I chickened out of the driving and left it to a freind who lives there several months a year who did a great job.
Quite liked the Picasso.

Upgrading to a Citroen Picasso. There's a phrase you don't hear every day. ;D
They seem to have a different approach to hire cars. Nearly pulled the front bumper off a Seat Ibiza on a doorstep that extended into the carriageway (did they never think of pavements?) anyway, they just shrugged when I returned it. Couldn't be bothered to come out of their office and inspect it.
Next visit I had another Ibiza (Automatic 1.4 .. grrr.) where the brake servo was clearly knackered. Pedal would go rock hard sometimes as the engine came down to idle whereby you had to stand on it to stop.
Pointed out on return that it had a dangerous fault. Same shrug of the shoulders. >:(
