Title: Any of you guys use the alloy rocker/valve covers

After my 2nd set of the plastic covers i decided to get myself a set of the alloy covers from a a vectra and i must add i have not had any weep at all since ,Just wondering if anybody else has gone down this route?

Just make sure you keep your breather system clear at all times otherwise you`ll be looking to replace the front crankshaft oil seal

I replaced my gaskets 2 years ago and cleaned the breathers... Now they get a token clean through every now and again but the oil and filter rarely stay in for more than 4-5k so stays pretty clear :y :y

No sign of oil anywhere when I changed the plugs today ;) ;)

Incidentally... If you fitted the Veccy covers so that the Oil Filler is on the same side as it should be you may get running problems later on due to the stress on the leads ;)

A very sensible modification :y I have done it myself now a couple of times with no problems whatsoever. You know it makes sense ;D
