Dad's Corsa D has a slight problem.
When the screen is wet and you need to have the wipers on full speed the drivers wiper blade hits the A pillar.
There is hardly any tolerance to move the arm down lower at the stop position as it would then catch the bonnet.
Corsa-D forum seems to suggest that there is a possible wiper motor fault.
VX also supply two wiper blades 650mm and 660mm... ::)

is it not still warranty covered?

No recorded faults with Vx tech (online). Do check the motor mount screws and arms are tight.

Thanks Mark, i'll take a look tomorrow.

PM me with the reg and I will do a quick search

Thanks, looks like the position for the drivers side would be the same in reverse for RHD.
So i'll check that tomorrow.
I'm not sure why there are two different wiper lengths listed.

Play in the mechanism? Would allow further throw in both detections? Or, if it's in any way similar to the omega, arm to motor is bent giving a bigger radious, meaning further travel at both ends of the wiper movement than designed, somebody had that on here after trying to clear too much snow off the screen with the wipers. Depends if car gets much use or ever saw snow I suppose.....? :-/

Was talking about my mates Astra H on an 08 plate doing exactly this today, exactly the same problem, wipers on full speed, all you can hear is that very irritating tapping noise. It's quite annoying.
