Post by: Dave Elite on 13 September 2010, 13:50:15
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2000-VAUXHALL-OMEGA-ELITE-V6-AUTO-SILVER-/280561307485?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4152c1cf5d worth a look for a laugh, he's also selling the wheels separately for some reason but not mentioned it in the add. Love the bonnet :y

Haha I missed the air box the first time! It just gets better the more you look at it!  ;D I'm surprised the insides isn't kitted out like a Halfords discount shelf.

It's only a vinyl wrap on the bonnet, easily removed if you didn't like it after you bought it.  ;) ;)

how do you know the wheels aren't part of the sale?  :-/

Everybody's taste is different I guess. I prefer the clean, standard look if I'm honest.  :)

Well spotted. I'd be somewhat miffed though if I'd bought this car & turned up to find A N Other set of wheels were fitted. As you say, no where in his/her add does it mention these rims are not part of the sale.  :-?

"This is for sale due to my friend  emmigrating "

"I was lead to believe it had G4 cams fitted when I bought it but I can't confirm that in any way."

"I am leaving on 23/9/10 so the sale must be completed by 22/9/10."

"I have been totally honest with this "

Am I being picky...... ;) ::)
Sorry couldn't resist it ::)

the ad for the car makes no suggestion at all that the alloys do not come with the car, so i've asked him

I asked him why he is selling the wheels separately, and why the car has the wrong size tyres fitted, his reply was

That is the size I was told by the garage to put
on. The wheels you will note close 2 days after
the car and as everything must go they will be
sold if the car doesn't sell but apart from that
they will be sold on the car. It also says that on
the wheels that they are for sale and may be
withdrawn at any time ie when the car is hopefully
sold.

makes you wonder if he tried 235`s but found them rubbing on the strut due to well worn front end components. :-/
