Title: Omega on ebay
Post by: Dave Elite on 27 September 2010, 11:51:49
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2002-VAUXHALL-OMEGA-V6-SPECIAL-WHITE-/180563399892?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2a0a6ad4d4 He thinks its the HG but prob the oil cooler. And by the look of the header tank, I'd say a poor coolant mix was the culprit. Why do people let there coolant get in such a state.

Yep agreed! :y
The coolant bottle has obviously been venting steamed oily gunk all over the drivers side of the engine bay. :(

Same here, if it had been very close might have been worth a punt.. :-/  White car and not much rust so easily sorted, the engine well, fix or replace..... :)
