Title: Smaller car than Omega, still with big driver seat
Post by: geoffr70 on 30 September 2010, 20:06:41
Hello, everyone. I love my Omegas. One of the reasons is comfort of course. But related to that is the big drivers seat, head room, and leg space.

Does anyone know of any car that has just as much space for the driver, but is smaller, and cheaper to run? I still want to keep my Migs though.

Loads of other cars I've driven just don't have the space, even when they are quite big to look at. At 6'1'' I'm not massive but not small, but even Mondeo sized cars I find have too little room in the driver's seat for any great length of time.

Thanks all!

I'm on my second Vectra 'b' facelift, the first was a 2.0 diesel CDX. It was quite nice, they come with xenon lights and single zone climate control. 65 m.p.g. is possible if you drive unrealistically... mine showed around 33 m.p.g. on the trip computer and I have a very heavy right foot.

Thanks for that brikhead, but how does it compare in the space comparison? I drove that shape Vectra a long time ago but can't remember!
Thanks

I am 6' 4'' and have no trouble at all driving the wifes Astra Design auto. I find it comfortable too.

Do try the one's with sport type seats as they are much better, the earlier Astra's like the 'Life' model have very basic seats.
