Just took our pool car up north for a trip, Zaf 1.6 Club, quite possibly the worst car I have ever driven.
Gutless, unstable, uncomfortable, borderline dangerous headlights, it should come with a warning "use for school runs only" :D, in fact my old CF230 from 20yrs ago outshone it in all departments.
Damn glad to get back in the mig :y

Lol, porper spec.
The high spec ones with proper engines are quite tolerable

I had a 2.0dti elegance 53 plate for 4 years, I thought it was a great car :y
-

Urgh! The original zafira coupled with the worlds most horrible diesel!
I think the newer zafira is miles better, still not convinced with cdti engine

On which part, the zaffy-a being naff, the dti being horrid, or me remaining unconvinced about the cdti?
That insignia, btw,no fault found and "that's how they are"

From a dealer, what do you expect!
Needs somebody who knows what they are doing.
Zaff A's were Ok, best of the lot in its day
Mine is nothing like the one you mention

zafira is a zafira no matter you tie up many horses ;D ;D ::)

imo if I wanted something really big and safe I would prefer that one ..although reliability statistics not so shining for it..

Company car - the company mechs have looked at it (basically just plugged mdi in I suspect), nought wrong, so sent it up to my favourite dealer who said likewise.
Personally, I wouldn't let either of those play with my cars (again) :-X
Obviously, tech2 turns its nose up.

Three simple things to do
1) Full clean of the EGR valve including stripping and cleaning the solenoid
2) Remove and clean the inlet pressure sensor
3) Check the swirl pot actuator arms are connected.

I would like to think that 1 and 2 aren't the issue (been same since day 1).
Will get him to check 3)
