i think you have covered all the angles there chris, easy to understand. one point, when re-fitting the wishbone bolts, to remember which way the bolts came out & go back in.
good write up :y

As the Baron says ... and a note about the wishbone bolts being different lengths ??

It is a sod when you spend ages and eventually get the vertical bolt in ... only to find you've used the wrong one and have to take the bugger back out and start over ...

been there got the T-shirt ... wasn't funny .. :(

Nice write ups  :y :y :y

Not sure if you want to add in a tip for speeding wishbone fitting up a little?

With the droplink off and steering at full extension on the side you are working on, pull the leg out and fit only the rear (vertical) bush in enough to drop the bolt through from the top, then fit the ball joint into the bottom of the leg and finally the front bush (horizontal) bolt. Turn the steering to  the opposite lock and fit the top drop link nut (easily torqued there (65nm)) then centre the steering and fit the lower end of the drop link. :y

how is it quicker? does it make fitting the ball joint easier?

Oh ffs, the modify button has gone. I give up. :(

Lower balljoint to knuckle is 100nm/74lbs ft.
Anti-rollbar link rod to strut 65nm/48lbs ft.

Both sides in just over an hour start to finish, slightly easier to get the nottom ball joint in as the drop link isn't stopping the leg from pulling out so far.

Thanks Jimbob.

An after thought, is it worth adding a link to the camber setting guide??? Or at least a mention of it?  :-[
