What does every one think of these? A bloke at rugby said hes got one and its brilliant but i said it a citroen. Can any one comment as the size for me would be brilliant and low road tax (£125 a year) and very cheap insurance and as a bonus over 50 mpg. rik

my brother in law works for a citroen dealer, just off phone to him, had a few in for various things, mainly brake issues and some sensors etc, says its pot luck like any other make.
cant be any worse than a multipla tho, yuk!!

on a positive note, he says they are capable of 200k miles plus if looked after, hence a popular mini cab option for taxi drivers. ;)

Engine is bullet proof.
Rest of the car is flimsy.
Interior build quality is extremely poor. A 4yr old will have the door cards off quicker than you could (even if you had the right tools).
Brakes are poor, steering is not the best. Driving it feels somewhat disconnected.
My advice would be to find a local forecourt with one and give it a test drive.

My brother ran one for quite a few years from new or newish - good car which I don't think gave him any problems and cheap to run as well.
Trick is as already said to find a good one.

I have a Citroen C4 Grande Picasso 7 seater, over due for return by agreement, a lease car. 1.6 diesel semi auto, been a great car, no problems at all. Not as solid as a Mig but for those that complain about the interior, just refer them to face lift quality and that should shut them up.... :y Oh and Mid 40's + MPG
Back to driving an Omega now though.... ::) ::) ::) Oh and Mid 20's and no + MPG... :'( :'( :'(

I sold Citroen/peugeots for 7 years and picassos are a bit of a hit or miss. I sold many used picasso's from 12 months to 6-7 years old and many came back with niggly faults like knocking steering, engine warning lights, central locking issues ect, but engine wise the 2.0 HDI (8v) is very reliable but service history like many a car is vital. SX was best trim before the newer Desire and Exclusive models came out. The Digital speedo displays are pretty reliable but are tricky to replace if LCD display does go. Interior Doors and trim tend to wear very easy after only a few years but seats wear very well. if the price is right and its been looked after you shouldnt have too much trouble :y
